Terroir, Elevation & Climate of Dak Ha
The unique combination of ancient volcanic basalt soil, plateau elevation, and distinct dry-wet seasons shapes the dense bean structure and rich aroma of Dak Ha Robusta.
Fertile Ancient Red Basalt Soil
Over 1 meter deep, porous, and rich in trace minerals and organic matter. Excellent drainage combined with deep moisture retention allows coffee roots to penetrate deeply and absorb rich nutrients.

Located on a breezy plateau with abundant daytime sunshine and cool nights (10 – 12°C diurnal temperature range). Coffee cherries ripen slowly, accumulating rich natural sugars.
High day-night temperature rangeNatural Sunshine, Wind & Morning Mist
Over 2,200 hours of sunshine annually combined with gentle morning mist create a cool microclimate—ideal for both traditional sun-drying and greenhouse raised-bed processing.
Over 2,200 sunshine hours / yearPure Natural Highland Water
Irrigation and wet-processing water comes from pure underground springs and natural highland streams, ensuring float-sorted coffee cherries remain clean, pure, and completely safe.

4-Step Sustainable Cultivation & Processing Standard
Every batch of Huy Hung coffee is strictly monitored from farm care and selective harvesting to post-harvest fermentation and drying.
Sustainable Ecological Farming
Intercropping shade trees and windbreaks, prioritizing organic bio-fertilizers, conserving Poko basin water resources, and strictly prohibiting banned agrochemicals.
- Shade-grown microclimate balance
- Organic microbial soil enrichment
- Zero banned pesticide residues
Selective Ripe Cherry Harvesting

- 95% - 100% red ripe cherry ratio
- Transported to factory within 12 hours
- Water flotation to remove floaters
Honey, Natural & Wet Processing
Applying standardized Natural, Honey (mucilage-retained), and Wet processing. Dried on elevated mesh beds inside solar greenhouses and clean concrete yards.
- Controlled mucilage fermentation
- Raised solar greenhouse drying beds
- Moisture stabilized at 11.5% - 12.5%
Optical Sorting & Lot Traceability
Conditioned in parchment silos before hulling, destoning, gravity grading (Screen 16/18), and optical color sorting. Every lot is coded by farm zone and harvest date.
- Screen 16 & Screen 18 grading
- Optical color defect removal
- Full farm-to-bag lot traceability
